Turmalin<\/h2>\n

SIGNUM BLANC w\u00e4chst auf turmalinhaltigem Felsboden, einem einzigartigen Terroir am Kreuzberg in der S\u00fcdsteiermark.<\/p>\n

Dort ist in dem lockeren metamorphen Gestein, in dem die Reben tief im Fels wurzeln und bis in feinste Ritzen dringen, schwarzer Turmalin enthalten, wie eine Bodenanalyse 2019 best\u00e4tigte.\u00a0Geologisch gesprochen \u201ebei\u00dft\u201c der Turmalin bei den SIGNUM BLANC Reben am Kreuzberg aus: er tritt zu Tage und durchzieht gleichzeitig die tiefen Gesteinsschichten.<\/p>\n

Dieser Edelstein, der im Boden des Kreuzbergs seit Millionen Jahren unter den Rebst\u00f6cken ruht, ist ein wahrer \u201eSchatz\u201c. Als Schmuckstein ist schwarzer Turmalin mysteri\u00f6s und magisch sch\u00f6n, aber er ist auch eines: energetisch wertvoll.<\/p>\n

The power, energy and minerality of the black gemstone is absorbed by the fine deep roots of the vines, which wander persistently through the rocky, humus-poor soil in search of nutrients and minerals. It is precisely this power, energy and minerality that passes through the roots into the hand-picked grapes and is later intensified by the long maturation of the wine in the cellar.<\/p>\n

The Illyrian climate of South Styria is an alpine adriatic climate and prevails in Austria<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s southeast and in parts of Slovenia. Protected by the alpine barrier, summers there are still as you remember them as a child: warm, sunny and endless. These summers are very slow to transition into a golden autumn. Warm days, cool nights in early summer, an average of over 20 degrees ensure that the vines can develop optimal fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Illyrian climate brings more humidity than a Mediterranean climate. During the growing season, the vine loves the showers and thunderstorms that the Adriatic occasionally sends up. Sometimes during summer, the v<\/span>ine in <\/span>South Styria also enjoys a Pannonian climate, dry and with little precipitation. The grapes dry and stretch towards the sun.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Illyrian climate is a god-given climate, <\/span>varied and unpredictable. In this respect, it is a tradition among Styrian vintners to maintain a good relationship with the weather god. They will be rewarded with magnificent vintages.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
